favorite surf experience: the day i caught my first barrel, i was out at queen's. i took off going right on a wave about three feet high and somehow i shifted my weight a little and tucked down tight and there i was in the tube! it was awesome!
worst surf experience: one day while out at populars on a 4'-5' windy day, i attempted to duck the first wave in the line-up, i ended up losing my board and breaking my leash. in my attempts to retrieve my board, i ended up stepping on wana (hawaiian sea urchin). after that i was done surfing for the day.
